Mission Statement
The Institute of Natural Health and Education is an institution with a mission to prepare qualified individuals to enter in the field of massage, bodywork and natural health practices. We provide a caring personalized attention to help our students to achieve the highest quality of professional growth and personal development within the principles of holistic approaches to health.
Brief History of the Institute of Natural Health & Education.
The Institute was founded by Antonio Carrico a National Board Certified Massage Therapist and a Doctor in Traditional Naturopathy.
The founder of the school have been practicing and teaching natural health for many years. After years of practice, he decided to share his knowledge and experiences with other individuals by opening the school. Therefore, anyone interested in obtaining knowledge and understanding of the value of natural health practice through a healthier lifestyle that benefits the body and mind.
Administration and Facilities
The Institute of Natural Health and Education is located at 606 East North Street in Bradley Illinois. Office hours are Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. The office is closed on holidays.
The Institute has all the equipment necessary for the proper training in massage therapy and bodywork. Classes are small in size, which allows us to offer a more personalized attention to our students.
Approvals, Accreditation and Affiliations
The Institute of Natural Health and Education is approved by the Division of Private Business and Vocational Schools of the Illinois Board of Higher Education and is an NCBTMB Assigned School.
The Institute of Natural Health and Education is approved by the Kankakee and Will County Workforce Development.
The Institute of Natural Health & Education is a member school of the American Massage Therapy Association
We are accredited by COMTA, Commission on Massage and Therapy Accreditation an agency accredited by the U.S. Department of Education.
Founders & Academics Directors
Antonio Carrico, ND, Psy.M, LMT
Antonio Carrico, the founder and one of the academic directors of INHE practices and supports natural approaches to health.
Currently, He works as a Traditional Naturopath Doctor at his family owned clinic and as an instructor of natural health sciences at the Institute of Natural Health and Education. In addition to traditional naturopathy, he became certified in Acupuncture and Moxibustion at Beijing Mebo Training Center of Chinese Medical Sciences.
Antonio Carrico has taken muscle therapy into a new level by strengthening his twenty five years of muscle therapy experiences. Finally, Antonio Carrico has being effectively practicing and teaching muscle therapy for years.
Melissa Carrico, L.M.T., COTA/L.
Melissa Carrico received her Associate degree in Occupational Therapy from College of DuPage and her second Associate Degree in Management and Marketing from Kankakee Community College. She continues her educational goal at the American Bodywork Institute of Bradley where she became certified in Massage Therapy and Bodywork. Today, at the Carrico Muscle Therapy Center as a massage therapist, and teaches at the Institute of Natural Health and Education. Moreover, she continues to advance her education by pursuing a psychology degree.
